The word Lahar is Indonesian and is used to describe volcanic mudslides. Lahar is also a Sumerian god of Cattle.
A Lahar is can be very dangerous and destructive. They can get up to 60mph in speed and 190 miles in distance causing alot of damage to anything it passes through.

- If you already live near a volcano and don't plan on moving, evacuate the area in advance if you know there is going to be an eruption. Don't just sit there and wait for it to happen!!!
